DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION:

The tablets are supplied to the dosing unit by a hopper via a vibration channel. The dosing unit consists of 2 dosing disks which simultaneously dose into the filling tube of the packaging machine.
While the tablets are falling down, they are counted by two independent counters. The second counter verifies the results of the first one. Just before the freely adjustable amount of tablets is reached, one disk is stopped and the second disk doses directly with reduced speed until the exact number of tablets is reached. Afterwards, a slide closes the filling tube so that the dosing unit can continue dosing immediately. From now onwards, the bag machine can do its next cycle, completely  independent from the dosing unit. Afterwards the slide is opened again and the tablets which have been counted up to this point fall down into the bag. When the number of tablets is reached, the cycle starts anew.
